Brenda Sciberras is an award-winning poet. Her first collection, Magpie Days won the Eileen McTavish Sykes Award for Best First Book, and I was nominated for Most Promising Writer at the Manitoba Book Awards 2015. Her second collection Starland was launched in 2018, both with Turnstone Press. Her poetry has been published in literary journals and anthologies across Canada. Most recently, six poems from Riddled in Red (2026, At Bay Press), have been published in Prairie Fire, and The New Quarterly. She lives in Winnipeg.
